Protect the CFPB

Save our financial watchdog!

After the 2008 bank-fueled economic crash, consumers helped establish an independent financial watchdog to protect their money from predatory institutions and scammers.

But now, this watchdog is under attack. Congress and the Administration have blocked – or are attempting to repeal – several pro-consumer protections we recently secured:

Credit card and bank fee limits
Data broker restrictions
Fraud protection requirements
Medical debt reporting ban
Payment app regulation
It's vital that our representatives hear directly from consumers who want a strong financial watchdog — not a big bank lapdog.
